SoBe Surf will be hosting world champion stand up paddler Candice Appleby and Carolina Cup champion Anthony Vela at a very special SUP racing clinic in Cocoa Beach. If you're a racer, aspiring racer, or SUP fitness enthusiast, this is not one to miss. Read below for more info!

SUMMARY Professional stand up paddler Candice Appleby will be sharing her experience and knowledge in a 4-hour in-depth SUP racing clinic.
Candice is a 4x women's Battle of the Paddle champion. She is sponsored by Quickblade, Bark, Surftech, FCS, Maui Jim and Ocean Minded.
Also present will be Anthony Vela, a former Redondo Beach lifeguard sponsored by Boardworks. Anthony is the winner of the 2011 Carolina Cup, as well as winner of the SUP surfing event at the 2011 San Clemente Ocean Festival.
The clinic will cover race starts and finishes, stroke technique, buoy turns, mental preparation, nutrition and hydration, and training strategy.
